Tiny But Mighty Cocktails

It’s been no secret I’ve been on a quest to try out as many Ready to Drink cocktails for a while now. So it was no surprise I was gifted a pack of mini cocktails. They knew me all too well. I have seen the CURATIFA Bartenders Dozen before online and I have wanted to buy the collection, but I was a bit unsure whether it be worth it. Mainly the reason was back in 2020 my first alcoholic drink after being pregnant was the Archie Rose Espresso Martini, it didn’t go down too well back then. But I am willing to give it a little go again, I am taking into account I hadn’t had any alcohol for ages and the reason I might not have been to keen on it back then was because it was my first drink in ages. Anyway fortunately I didn’t buy it otherwise I’d end up with two boxes.

The CURATIF- A Bartenders Dozen Collection, is a section of 6 different cocktails. You get two cans of each cocktail so you can share with a friend…..or one for each hand. The collection’s cocktails are as follows:

2 Archie Rose Espresso Martini

2 Plantation Fancy Pineapple Rum Daiquiri

2 Plantation Rum Hurricane

2 Never Never Distilling Co Negroni

2 Tequila Tromba Tommy’s Margarita

2 Trader Vic’s Mai Tai (Jacoby’s Tiki Bar Collab)

I did start off with the Espresso martini, just to see if it just was bad timing for trying out a cocktail for the first time. I was 100% right I should’ve waited to have it rather than make it my first drink after pregnancy. I served it on ice and it was just perfect. Trying out all of these was an adventure and while they are small cans the really are strong drinks. While I always comment on how strong the drink is and strong drinks tend to be unpleasant to drink. With these it wasn’t the case while they were strong the cocktails overall flavours weren’t lost and adding a few ice cubes really took it to cocktail level I felt. The Pineapple Daiquiri, Mai Tai and Hurricane, all were fruity heaven. They screamed tropical holiday, hanging by the pool. The Margarita that was so god damn good! I seriously was tempted to either blend it with ice or try freezing it so I could almost be a slushy. The Negroni, I’m going to be honest usually I’m not a big fan of these, but this actually was really good to drink. I’m guessing I’ve had some people that are trying to kill me make it. This cocktail collection is a great gift for any lover of cocktails. The small cans all have fun colourful designs and each cocktail tastes absolutely delicious.

So overall this was a great little adventure, I will say definitely serve these over ice because these little buggers are STRONG! While they are strong in alcohol (technically 2 standard drinks) the flavours aren’t completely lost in some. I think these really feel like a small cocktail bar that you can enjoy at home, I even bought out the fancy cocktail glass for these. Like I mentioned I have been eyeing these off for a while and fortunately I was gifted these……Because I actually was planning on buying some of these with one of the many gift vouchers I received for Christmas. Of course I have included the website below for you to check out, while they are small cans they do pack a punch I will tell you that. Don’t be put off by the size they are worth it!

IM OUT!!!!
